Qualifications
Gary Meyer has been an
independent fee appraiser since
1973. His appraisal assignments include
all real property. Mr. Meyer has written valuations for the purpose
of market value, proposed construction, project feasibility, condemnation,
litigation, probate, insurance value, mortgage financing, business
valuation, and ad valorem taxes. He has a broad base of experience that
includes high rise office buildings, apartment projects, industrial
complexes, restaurants, service stations, shopping centers, leasehold and
leased fee valuations, single family residential properties, churches, and
other special purpose properties.
Mr. Meyer was born in Waterloo,
Iowa in 1941. He attended public schools in Cherokee, Iowa prior to
attending Drake and Iowa State Universities. After receiving his
undergraduate degree from Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska, Mr.
Meyer did graduate work at the University of Houston and Sam Houston University and received his MAI Desiganaton from the Appraisal
Institute in 1982.
Mr. Meyer served his country in the
United States Army from 1963 to 1967 and was a 1965 distinguished military
(USAAMOCS) artillery officer graduate prior to serving in Viet Nam. He
received an Honorable Discharge with the rank of First Lieutenant.
